Products are placed onto the infeed conveyor at a height of approximately 1560 mm. The products are then transported through the Octofrost via a vibratory belt. The belt features a drop section to separate products and remove excess external ice. The belt is approximately 8100 mm long and 850 mm wide. Once the product is frozen to the correct core temperature, it exits at a height of 1250 mm. The freezer has three inspection hatches for checking product quality while it is on the belt.
