Description
We are a company based in 9000 St. Gallen (Switzerland) and imported this planetary ball mill from China in 2024. The machine is brand new and unused. We powered it on and let it run empty for a few minutes to verify its operational functionality. Included are 4 x 25-liter nylon containers. Additionally, 120 kg of zirconium oxide balls with a diameter of 1 mm are available.

Manufacturer's description:
The YXQM series of planetary ball mills for mass production is designed specifically for industrial applications and is geared towards medium-scale production capacities, meeting the requirements of commercial manufacturing. These systems ensure a smooth transition of materials from laboratory scale to production floor, maintaining process consistency and reproducibility for reliable performance of the produced materials. The unit is widely used in sectors such as new energy, metallurgy, electronics, ceramics, geology, mining, building materials, chemicals, light industry, cosmetics, environmental protection, and other material-manufacturing industries.
Planetary ball mills generate extremely high centrifugal forces, resulting in significant pulverization energy and hence short grinding times. They are suitable for industries where quality control processes demand the highest standards of purity, speed, fineness, and reproducibility. This series can be equipped with vacuum jars, enabling grinding under vacuum conditions. It is particularly well-suited for research tasks in scientific institutes, universities, and corporate laboratories to assess the feasibility of scaling up to mass production, as well as for routine applications such as mixing and homogenizing soft, hard, brittle, or fibrous materials from lab scale up to production.
- Key features:
- High-performance nano-scale grinding
- Digital display, easy operation, precise parameter adjustment
- Variable speeds from approx. 10 to 440/360 rpm, speed ratio 1:2
- Batch processing up to 4 × 6/9 L samples, simultaneous processing of 4 materials
- Electric lid opening and integrated crane, simple and convenient
- Storage for 3 modes and 15 programs
- Power failure protection with memory function and automatic restart
- Suitable for dry grinding, wet grinding, vacuum grinding, and grinding in protective atmospheres
- The machine stops when the lid is opened, and an automatic lock prevents unintentional opening
- Equipped with castors and swiveling feet for easy movement and stable positioning during operation
Applications: Pulverization, mixing, homogenizing, colloidal grinding, mechanical alloying, mechanochemistry
Areas of use: New energy, geology/metallurgy, glass/ceramics, engineering/electronics, construction materials, environment/recycling, agriculture, chemical industry, medicine, biology
Feed material: Soft, hard, brittle, fibrous – dry or wet
Size reduction principle: Impact, friction
Feed size: < 5 mm for soil, < 10 mm for bulk material
Final fineness: For colloidal grinding, samples below 0.1 micron
Number of grinding stations: 4
Grinding methods: Dry grinding, wet grinding, vacuum grinding, grinding under protective atmosphere
Grinding jar material:
