Year of construction: 2001, condition: excellent (used), Laminar Flow Microbiological Safety Cabinet BDK S 1200 Operating Principle The safety cabinet is a laboratory device in which a largely turbulence-free (laminar) displacement flow prevails in the working area. The air flowing through the working area, as well as the exhaust air, is cleaned by a high-performance particulate filter. Scope of performance and equipment - Model design The safety cabinet is manufactured in three different sizes: BDK-S 1200, 1500, and 1800. - Air monitoring The air flow velocity in the recirculating air (downflow working area) and exhaust air area (inflow exhaust air) is monitored using flow probes. Any occurring malfunctions are indicated by a control light and a signal horn. - Viewing pane monitoring The viewing pane, made of safety laminated glass, is equipped with a weight compensation system and can be moved very easily and smoothly in a stepless manner.
