Movement paths of the portal and unit carrier
Movement in the X, Y, and Z axes is via linear prismatic guideways with preloaded ball bearings. The X-axis movement (moving gantry) uses a preloaded, backlash-free rack-and-pinion drive with helical gearing. Movement of the unit carrier in Y and Z directions is also preloaded for precision. Positioning of the working units and machine function control is through "brushless" AC servo motors and digital drives.
CNC CONTROL
The control unit comprises a numerical control for the milling and drilling machines and a PC with a graphical user interface "XILOG PLUS".
