The Ficep NOZOMI 601 RAZ is a fully automatic robotic plasma cutting system for three-dimensional thermal processing of steel profiles and beams. An anthropomorphic 9-axis articulated robot machines all four profile faces without re-clamping, replacing layout, thermal cutting, coping and grinding with one automated work cell - less handling, shorter throughput times, reproducible quality from CAD/CAM data.

FUNCTION & APPLICATION
The NOZOMI 601 RAZ combines plasma cutting, coping, bevel cutting, weld-seam preparation and marking in a single pass. The non-contact laser scanner measures the profile surfaces and determines the torch start position automatically.
The system processes H-beams, U-channels, L-angles and flat bar. Typical applications: structural steel, bridge and plant construction, series production of connection and node details. Plasma processing uses the Hypertherm True Hole process.
