The 1113 was previously registered as “Other Vehicle – Fire Brigade – Rescue Vehicle”.

The odometer was replaced in 2018 and now shows 141,000 km. The original odometer with 27,000 kilometers was retained and correctly handed over to us by the fire brigade. The actual total mileage is a maximum of 60,000 kilometers, in reality likely much less. As the inspection log has been continuously maintained with mileage figures for the last 25 years, both the mileage and the odometer replacement during this period can be reliably and continuously documented.
In addition to the original odometer, there is a box full of original Daimler-Benz and Bachert documents, as well as paperwork such as logbooks and generator documentation, most of which are original documents from the year of manufacture 1974. Everything is in good and well-preserved condition. The documents are not for sale separately, nor will they be copied; please accept these facts as presented. Only the buyer of the 1113 will receive these treasures along with the vehicle from us.
This offer is only for tradespeople, freelancers, authorities (BOS), public institutions, and all kinds of comparably self-employed businesses. Sale to private end users is, unfortunately, not possible.
Interim sale and errors excepted at any time.

The manufacturer listed in the original paperwork is still GFG "Geländefahrzeug-Gesellschaft"—a joint venture by Daimler-Benz and Steyr-Daimler-Puch in Austria at the time. This vehicle is among the last produced with this manufacturer designation, as shortly afterward “Daimler-Benz” became the registered manufacturer in the documents.
As recorded in 1991, a complete MATTER roll bar was installed and remains in place.
Includes a small roof rack system for transporting long equipment items.
The long-wheelbase 280 GE is the largest and most powerful vehicle from the first G-Class generation available as a factory-standard Mercedes model in its early years.

Dimensions: Length 4,395 mm / Width 1,700 mm / Height 2,150 mm.
Tyres: 205/80R16.

While the G does not feature a trailer hitch, the base cross-member required is installed. Retrofitting data or trailer load specification is not possible as the relevant fields are marked “not applicable” in the original registration document.
This offer is valid for commercial customers, freelancers, public authorities, emergency services, agricultural and forestry operations, and similar self-employed professionals only. Sale to private end customers is unfortunately not possible. Subject to prior sale and errors.
The 280 GE is immediately available and ready for registration. It was recently driven a considerable distance by motorway to our premises, which it completed without issue.
According to verbal information, the Mercedes is accident-free, but this cannot be documented in writing and is therefore passed on to the buyer as hearsay.
The 280 GE was rightly classified as a classic vehicle and officially recognised in Germany as an "automotive cultural asset."
