Function:
The welding fumes generated at the welding site are captured via extraction arms and hoods, among other means, and conveyed through a duct to the inlet of the AL-KO CLEAN UNIT F. In a large pre-separation chamber, coarse particles are first separated out. The subsequently arranged filter cartridges of dust class “M” filter out the remaining fine dust particles. During extraction operation, the differential pressure-controlled filter cleaning system removes adhering particles from the filter cartridges. Venturi nozzles on the filter cartridges maximize the cleaning efficiency, ensuring consistently high suction power and a long filter service life.
