Condition: like new (used), ROSSI & CATELLI BUTTERFLY P30 Double Turbo Pulper – Stainless Steel ROSSI & CATELLI BUTTERFLY P30 double turbo pulper, designed for the pulping, refining, and continuous separation of fruit and vegetable pulps and purees in industrial processing lines. Its double configuration incorporates two processing stages, allowing for an initial pulping of the product and subsequent refining to obtain a more homogeneous fraction, progressively separating skins, seeds, fibers, and other unwanted solids. The combination of two working units in a single installation is particularly interesting for tomato, fruit, and vegetable lines where a high degree of separation and refining is required before concentration, sterilization, or filling. MAIN FEATURES -Manufacturer: ROSSI & CATELLI -Model: BUTTERFLY P30 -Type: Double turbo pulper / refiner -2-stage processing configuration -Continuous pulping and refining of product -Separation of pulp and solid waste -High-speed rotary systems -Separation screens / sieves -Continuous feed -Transfer between the two refining stages -Independent discharge of product and waste -Primarily stainless steel construction -Driven by electric motors -Closed process chambers -Robust construction for continuous industrial production -Integrable into complete processing lines PROCESS Prodpfsx S Irfex Abuoc The pre-crushed or treated product enters the first stage of the ROSSI & CATELLI BUTTERFLY P30, where the rotary system forces it against a perforated screen. The usable fraction passes through the screen, while the larger solids are separated. The resulting product can then pass to the second stage, where further refining is carried out using a screen with characteristics suitable for the required final product. This configuration allows for: Pulping Two-stage refining Separation of skins and seeds Progressive removal of fibers Obtaining purees and pulps Homogenization of texture Pre-processing prior to concentration or sterilization APPLICATIONS Particularly suitable for tomato processing industries, fruit and vegetable processors, and manufacturers of purees, pulps, concentrates, and sauces. Depending on the screens installed, it can be used for tomatoes, fruits, and various vegetable products, forming part of industrial extraction and refining lines. The ROSSI & CATELLI BUTTERFLY P30 double-stage configuration provides a particularly interesting solution when progressive and continuous refining of the product is required. Machine available for inspection. Additional technical information, dimensions, photographs, or videos can be provided upon request.

Technical specifications – summary (details can be found in the documents): Hot mixer: • Volume: 3500 liters – Usable volume: 2500 liters Pjdpfx Aez Iww Rebuorc • Tip speed: 5-50 m/s • Made of duplex steel – 1.4462 stainless steel • Power drive with 400 kW FC controlled • Vacuum up to 150 mbar abs. Cold mixer: • Volume: 9000 liters – Usable volume: 7650 liters • Tip speed: 3.5 – 7 m/s • Made of 1.4541 stainless steel • Power drive with 90 kW FC controlled The operating principle is divided into two physically and apparatus-wise separate process phases: 1. The heating mixer phase (heating and homogenizing) • Mechanical friction: In the heating mixer, a modular mixing tool rotates at a high circumferential speed (approx. 10–40 m/s). The intense flow and vortex formation (mixing vortex) causes the particles of the mixture to rub intensely against each other. • Heating: This mechanical friction generates the necessary thermal energy directly in the product, quickly and evenly heating the material to the desired target temperature (sometimes exceeding 100 °C). • Recipe component addition: At the same time, all recipe components, such as additives, dyes, or liquids, are perfectly homogeneously distributed. An integrated aspiration system also ensures the dehumidification of the mixture. 2. The transfer • Once the target temperature defined in the process program is reached, a contoured, dead-space-free outlet opens on the heating mixer. • The hot, homogeneous mixture is transferred with minimal residue and quickly to the cooling mixer, which is located directly below or next to it. The heating mixer is then immediately available for the next batch. 3. The cooling mixer phase (gentle cooling) • Heat exchange: In the cooling mixer (available in vertical or horizontal design), the hot material is passed over cooled surfaces. • Water cooling: A targeted cooling water circuit in the double jacket (bottom and side walls) efficiently removes thermal energy from the dry blend. • Agglomeration prevention: A slow, material-friendly stirring mechanism keeps the mixture in motion until the final storage temperature is reached. This prevents caking (compaction) due to residual heat before the material is transferred to silos or further processing. Summary created with AI. The units can be inspected in operation in the Netherlands. The system for sale was used in the R&D center of UBQ for development purposes. This explains the very good condition for the low number of production hours. We also have a steel structure available for the setup. This is not included in the price. If there is interest, it can be negotiated separately. Currently, the system is located outside of Europe – we need to determine whether direct transport is feasible or whether import to Europe by UBQ is more sensible (which would allow for a sale within Europe with a reverse-charge mechanism).
