Mode of operation:
The contaminated air is introduced tangentially into the cylindrical upper part, causing the air to rotate. The material is forced outwards towards the circumference of the cyclone under the influence of centrifugal force and is discharged through the hole in the bottom. The cleaned air leaves the cyclone through the centrally located outlet pipe at the top.
The separation efficiency increases with the feed rate, but so does the pressure loss and, consequently, the energy consumption. Therefore, it is important to find a good compromise.

Operating principle
In the cyclone separator, contaminated air enters the cylindrical chamber and begins to rotate.
