Year of construction: 2012, operating hours: 4,000 h, condition: ready for operation (used), functionality: fully functional, machine/vehicle number: 363/15862010, The rotary bed dryer WB-T (model 1.00 / 3.00) from Allgaier Process Technology GmbH is a specialized industrial plant for the continuous, uniform, and gentle drying of bulk materials and biomass. In process engineering, the model designation (1.00 / 3.00) typically refers to the dimensions of the drying area, i.e., a bed width of 1.00 meter and a bed length of 3.00 meters. The heating capacity is 250 kW and is powered by electricity. Typical applications: • Biofuels & wood industry: Drying of wood chips, sawdust, and bark for pellet production. • Waste management • Agricultural & recycling industry: Processing of fermentation residues (from biogas plants), green waste, sugar beet pulp, or bagasse. Operating principle: The technology combines the process engineering advantages of a drum dryer with those of a fluidized bed dryer: • Rotary bed mechanism: The wet product lies inside on a perforated flow bed (perforated sheet). A targeted mechanical movement or tumbling in combination with the airflow creates a rotating or rolling product movement ("rotary bed"). • Counter-current or cross-current ventilation: The drying air is blown from below through the sieve bed and flows intensively through the tumbling product. This ensures an optimal heat and mass exchange. Ibedpfx Amoz Rz Dns Djc Main features & advantages: • Low-temperature drying: The plant is ideally designed for operation with waste heat or low-temperature heat sources (e.g., from combined heat and power plants/CHP or industrial residual energy). • Long residence time: This enables particularly gentle dewatering of the material while simultaneously ensuring high homogeneity of the residual moisture. • Robust particle processing: In contrast to pure fluidized beds, large, irregular, or sticky particles can also be processed economically. • Integrated screening: The flow effectively reduces fine dust and sand content during the process.
