Cone has intlet with bolted lid and bottom discharge with manual valve. Driven through gearbox by 2.2 kW, 400 V, 1420 rpm, 50 Hz el. motor, rotations of dryer are 2.2 rpm. Gearbox is Ex II 2D c 125°C rated / motor II2 D Ex tD A21 T 120°C. Mounted on mild steel support stands.
