Purpose of the machine
The tight banding machines in the SKINETTA series are used to band (wrap) individual products or several individual products tightly
with polyethylene film. In contrast to shrinking machines, the wrapping film is pulled tightly around the pack before sealing. This tightening is the main advantage of the process. The result is up to 20% less film consumption.
A particular advantage of the patented SKINETTA tightening system is the infinitely variable, fine dosage.

The sealing (welding) of the film takes place in a very small space and a clean sealing seam with very small protrusions is created. By connecting a SKINETTAther or SKINETTAshrink heating hood downstream and using a correspondingly wide film, the excess film protruding beyond the container can be shrunk to the side. This process makes the pack even more stable and prevents individual products from falling out of the sides of a grouped pack. Full closure of the packs by sealing, sealing and side folding is possible with appropriate additional equipment.
The range of SKINETTA stretch-banding machines comprises 6 basic types for film widths
from 25 mm to 200, 290, 440, 590, 790 and 1250 mm. In addition to the single-track version, two to four-track systems are manufactured to increase output. - In the SK series (semi-automatic), the products are grouped on the machine table by an operator. The insertion into the film and the subsequent stretch-banding process is triggered either by a foot switch or a two-hand control, subsequent full automation is possible (except for type SK 200), - In the ASK series (fully automatic), the products are fed, grouped and then banded fully automatically using appropriate additional equipment. A modular system of feeding, grouping, forming and special equipment based on over 20 years of experience allows adaptation to the most diverse customer tasks with tried and tested standard elements.
