Attached is the original factory brochure. The machine has been fully dry ice cleaned, and the cylinders are in excellent condition. Offered strictly on an 'as is, where is' basis. Maximum width is 225 cm, maximum height is 230 cm; shipping in a High Cube container is possible. Price is absolutely fixed, based on the removal of easily separated parts which we could sell separately, such as the Mabeg feeder with vacuum belt delivery, and the four-fold Baldwin stainless steel unit—with each color having its own bath, a mixer, and adjustable temperature control, so all four baths can be set to different temperatures and alcohol concentrations. The machine was dry ice cleaned, and it was intended for prominent use in printing electronic paper. However, due to too many initial losses, the project was discontinued. The machine has been with us for 3 years and, due to its size, I want to sell it as quickly as possible. Hence this very low price. It is an excellent machine. If the machine needs to be set up for testing and sampling, this is possible at an additional cost of €10,000, of which €5,000 must be paid in advance as a deposit under agreed conditions. It includes a recently replaced new motor and rollers. The sheet count is very low at just 283,000 sheets. This Major folder also includes the perforation and scoring unit. The Morgana Major has been designed to offer a wide range of ‘big machine’ features within a compact and easy to operate design. Changing from one size to another, or for different folds, can be accomplished in seconds. The Morgana Major incorporates counting and batching, with perforating and scoring as standard. A number of unique features have been developed to ensure that the Morgana Major can handle output from digital processes, as well as litho printing. The fold rollers are extremely durable and have the ability to handle a wide variety of stock without adjustment. Not affected by paper dust, their unique composite material will positively grip high gloss papers or work from digital print engines. The Dial-a-Fold plate settings enable all adjustments to be made without removing the covers. An LED display, accurate to 0.1mm, shows the fold plate position and allows easy and accurate repeat job settings. A powerful suction feed handles a wide range of coated or non-coated material and incorporates side lay alignment of the sheets before they enter the fold plates. The feed table also has a suction chamber to control curled or statically charged paper. A larger sheet size of 365mm width and 648mm length makes the Morgana Major even more flexible, capable of producing 6pp A4 documents. The machine speed is fully adjustable from 4500 to 27,500 sheets per hour, giving the operator complete control over the production of a wide range of stocks. The plug-in perforator/scorer is included with this Morgana Major and work is delivered into a catch tray.
