Flexible Pre-Shredder for Two-Stage Processing
A pre-shredder from the WEIMA crusher series, model HWV 3000 (37 kW), is used within a two-stage processing system. After, for example, pallets are pre-shredded, the material passes through metal separation and secondary shredding. Suitable for this step are single-shaft shredders such as the WL12 (30 kW). The resulting wood chips can be directly combusted in heating systems or further processed into higher-quality fuel using a briquetting press.
