Design and technology

The CORMAK TH410S thickness planer is based on a robust steel and cast iron construction, providing high rigidity and resistance to vibration. The 95 mm diameter spiral cutter head is equipped with 72 carbide inserts arranged in a spiral pattern, ensuring continuous cutting and eliminating the risk of tearing wood fibres, even when processing hard and resinous wood species.

The extraction and sound-insulating cover provides quick access to the cutter head and simplifies maintenance operations.

Precision and working efficiency

With a planing range from 5 to 230 mm and a working width of 410 mm, the machine enables processing of both thin boards and thick structural elements. The cutter head speed of 4050 rpm and powerful 3.0 kW (S1) motor ensure high performance even during intensive operation.
