Description
        HOMAG OPTIMAT BMG 511 /60/12/F/K - CNC processing centre in moving gantry construction for trimming and drilling of wood or MDF panels
Thanks to 5-axis technology, all machining operations are possible without the use of additional angle agregates. The free design of all possible shapes of stairs, doors, and windows is possible, and their production is fully automated. Thanks to 5-axis centers, production times are drastically reduced.
This CNC is equipped with a new type of 5-axis electrospindle from the top producer OMLAT, which operates using cardan joint. This electrospindle is liquid-cooled, enabling continuous operation without downtime.
The machine bed is made of SORB TECH material patented by Homag instead of steel in the machine frame, the vibration-damping capacity is 80 percent higher than that of steel castings. It is stress-free and has a high vibration damping coefficient, which improves machining quality and extends tool life.
The HOMAG BMG 500 series machining center is characterized by high-quality, which is due to the components that influence processing quality and durability. The machine features a gantry design and a dual drive system, meaning the gantry moves on two independent linear bearings powred by two engines. This eliminates stress and ensures high precision and stability during processing, while also reducing vibrations unlike standard machining centers.
The machine is ideal for precision machining in industrial environments at high speed and without downtime, where standard CNC machines fails.
