The core model, the Kündig Master, is equipped with a calibration roller and a sanding pad unit and features a proven design that guarantees decades of high sanding precision – and all this across the generous working width of 1350 mm. The Sanding Units – Proven Combination The sanding units rely on the proven combination of calibration roller and sanding pad. For secure workpiece guidance, a parallel spring-loaded steel pressure roller is located at the machine inlet, and rubber pressure rollers are located between the sanding units. Calibration Unit (R): The calibration unit is a grooved rubber contact roller of proven hardness. It is ideally suited for calibration tasks, even with high chip removal rates if necessary. The level of the contact roller is continuously adjustable to compensate for the thickness of the abrasive grain. Segmented sanding pad (E): With the E-Plus configuration, the fine sanding unit features a segmented, electronically controlled sanding pad with a scanning width of 35 mm instead of the pneumatic version.
