Description
For sale is a used temperature calibrator from the manufacturer Sika based in Kaufungen, Germany (Made in Germany).
The device was only used as a micro bath/oil bath in our calibration laboratory and is no longer needed.
No additional accessories are included; however, these can be purchased from the manufacturer. (Other measuring equipment shown in the pictures is not included in the offer.)
Bsdpfeyrb Hhex Aa Newi
Temperature range: -30°C to 165°C
Manufacturer specifications:
Description:
Whether for on-site use in the workshop, in the measurement and test room, or in the laboratory, SIKA temperature calibrators are utilized anywhere. A wide range of industries with diverse applications are covered.
• Assembly, commissioning
• Manufacturing, production
• Maintenance, service
• Quality assurance, test equipment monitoring
• Repair
Micro bath function:
When temperature sensors with unusual shapes and sizes need to be tested, using calibration fluids offers advantages. The unit under test is placed directly in the fluid, ensuring a direct heat transfer between calibrator and device without insulating air gaps. The calibration fluid, such as silicone oil, is selected according to the required calibration temperature. The stepless regulation of the magnetic stirrer, combined with the removable sensor basket, ensures thorough mixing of the calibration liquid and creates a large measurement zone. Furthermore, the sensor basket allows undisturbed stirring operation and protects the tank bottom.
Dry block function:
The dry block function is designed to allow simple temperature calibration in laboratory and field applications. Optimal thermal coupling between the block and the device under test is achieved using the correct sleeve. Ideally, the bore in the sleeve should be 0.5 mm larger in diameter than the outside diameter of the sensor. The sleeve enables calibration of almost all straight temperature sensors with different lengths and diameters. The dry block covers the entire temperature range without the need to change the calibration medium. The user does not have to consider viscosities, flash points, or outgassing.
Blackbody function:
For the calibration of IR pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras, a patented infrared calibration sleeve is used. The special surface structure and asymmetric shapes create a “black cavity radiator” with an emissivity factor of 0.9994, preventing the reflection of stray radiation and emitting the desired temperature in an ideal manner. The pyrometer is simply held at the prescribed distance above the measurement opening, allowing the desired measurement spot on the base to be targeted for calibration. Direct mounting of a tripod is possible.
Surface temperature function:
Surface temperature sensors are calibrated using special sleeves that are placed vertically with the required contact force. By switching the calibrator controller to the external reference sensor, the best possible temperature reference point on the sleeve surface is achieved.
